Affected Areas
Northwestern Sarpy County in east central Nebraska, southwestern Douglas County in east central Nebraska, and southeastern Saunders County in east central Nebraska. The storm was located 3 miles southeast of Yutan or 7 miles northwest of Gretna at issuance, moving northeast at 25 mph. Locations in path include Yutan around 945 PM CDT, Elkhorn and Waterloo around 950 PM CDT, Valley around 955 PM CDT, Flanagan Lake, and Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 432 and 446.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Expected Conditions
At 942 PM CDT, radar indicated a severe thunderstorm with 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
