Alert Details

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Tucson AZ. The alert is effective from August 5 at 8:55 PM MST until August 5 at 9:45 PM MST.

Affected Areas

The warning covers Northwestern Cochise County and East Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona. Locations impacted include Benson, Vail, Corona De Tucson, Saguaro National Park East, Mescal, Cascabel and Texas Canyon. Affected highways include Route 90 between mile markers 290 and 294, Route 80 between mile markers 293 and 297, Interstate 10 between mile markers 275 and 322, and Route 83 between mile markers 51 and 58.
