The warning covers Vermilion County in east central Illinois and northeastern Champaign County in east central Illinois. The storm was located near Rankin, or 8 miles west of Hoopeston, and will be near Hoopeston around 12:15 AM CDT and Rossville around 12:20 AM CDT. Affected highways include Interstate 57 between mile markers 255 and 257 and Interstate 74 between mile markers 196 and 220. Kickapoo State Recreation Area and Middle Fork State Fish and Wildlife Area are also included.
