Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Tucson AZ. Effective from August 5 at 9:01 PM MST until August 5 at 9:45 PM MST. Alert type code: SVR.

Affected Areas

Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona. Locations impacted include Sells, Topawa, San Miguel, San Isidro, Kitt Peak, Ali Chukson, Vamori, South Komelik, Cowlic, Fresnal, Choulic, Newfield, Coldfields, No:ligk, South Comobabi, Comobabi, Cababi, Santa Rosa Ranch and San Luis - Sells District. Includes Route 86 between mile markers 104 and 137.

Expected Conditions

At 9:01 PM MST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 7 miles southeast of San Miguel to near San Isidro, moving west at 30 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles expected. Wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees expected.
