Central Monroe County in southeastern West Virginia... * Until 1215 AM EDT. * At 1109 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Raines Corner, or near Union, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Union... Laurel Branch... Pickaway... Lindside... Raines Corner... Zenith... and Gap Mills.
