Northeastern Carroll County in west central Iowa... * Until 500 PM CDT. * At 413 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lanesboro, or 13 miles northeast of Carroll, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Carroll, Jefferson, Lake City, Glidden, Grand Junction, Scranton, Churdan, Lohrville, Rippey, Paton, Lidderdale, Lanesboro, Willey, Ralston, Dana, Hobbs County Park, Arthur N Neu Airport, Jefferson Municipal Airport, and Swan Lake State Park.
