Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Sioux Falls SD. Effective from June 4 at 11:01 PM CDT until June 5 at 12:00 AM CDT. Alert type code: SVR.

Affected Areas

Brule County in south central South Dakota. Severe thunderstorms located along a line extending from near Lower Brule to 7 miles south of Reliance to near Hamill, moving east at 40 mph. Will be near Lake Francis Case around 11:05 PM CDT and Chamberlain around 11:15 PM CDT. Other locations in the path include Kimball.

What You Should Do

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
