Alert Details
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning (SVR) has been issued by the National Weather Service Denver CO. The alert is effective from June 8, 2026 at 3:14 PM MDT until June 8, 2026 at 4:00 PM MDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Adams County, Denver County, and Jefferson County in Colorado. Specific areas include northeastern Jefferson County, southwestern Adams County, and west central Denver County. At 3:14 PM MDT, the storm was located near Wheat Ridge, or 10 miles west of Denver, moving east at 20 mph. It will be near Lakewood and Golden around 3:15 PM MDT and Wheat Ridge and Arvada around 3:25 PM MDT. Other impacted locations include Pleasant View, Edgewater, and Mountain View.
