Northern Wasatch County in northern Utah and north central Utah County in northern Utah. Locations impacted include Heber City, Heber, Daniel, Wasatch Mountain State Park, Timber Lakes, Midway, Charleston, Wallsburg, Deer Creek State Park, and Woodland. Highways affected: US Route 40 between mile markers 16 and 32; Utah Route 35 between mile markers 5 and 7 and between 10 and 28; Mirror Lake Highway between mile markers 15 and 16 and between 19 and 23.

What You Should Do

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Expected Conditions

At 7:51 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Daniel, or 7 miles southwest of Heber City, moving east at 50 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
