Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Gray ME. Effective from June 18, 2026 at 4:42 PM EDT until June 18, 2026 at 5:30 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
York County in southwestern Maine; Rockingham County, southeastern Strafford County, and southeastern Hillsborough County in New Hampshire. Locations impacted include Nashua, Derry, Portsmouth, Hampton, Durham, Exeter, Kittery, Salem, Dover, Barrington, Litchfield, Epping, Brentwood, Greenland, Raymond, Newington, Seabrook, Rye, Hudson, and Pelham. Includes Interstate 93 between mile markers 0 and 15, Interstate 95 between mile markers 1 and 8 in New Hampshire, Interstate 95 in New Hampshire between mile markers 0 and 16, Hampton Beach, and York Beach.

At 4:42 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles south of Epsom to near Brookline, moving east at 55 mph. Hazard: 60 mph wind gusts. Source: Radar indicated. Impact: Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to flash flooding. Max hail size up to .75 inches. Tornado possible.
