Northeastern Rawlins County in northwestern Kansas and southeastern Hitchcock County in southwestern Nebraska. The storm was located 8 miles north of Ludell or 11 miles north of Atwood at 4:36 PM CDT, moving north at 15 mph.
What You Should Do
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Move indoors immediately due to large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud-to-ground lightning. Do not drive through flooded roadways.
Expected Conditions
Tennis ball size hail (2.50 inches) and 60 mph wind gusts. Torrential rainfall may lead to flash flooding. Considerable thunderstorm damage threat.
