Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Aberdeen SD. Effective from August 30, 2026 at 12:39 AM CDT until August 30, 2026 at 1:45 AM CDT. Alert level: Severe. Certainty: Observed. Urgency: Immediate.
Affected Areas
Northeastern Sully County in central South Dakota, East Central Dewey County in north central South Dakota, and Potter County in north central South Dakota. The storm was located over Whitlocks Bay Rec Area, or 13 miles west of Gettysburg, moving east at 25 mph.
