Northeastern Orleans Parish in southeastern Louisiana, southeastern St. Tammany Parish in southeastern Louisiana, and Hancock County in southern Mississippi. Locations impacted include New Orleans, Slidell, Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Diamondhead, Eden Isle, Pearl River, Kiln, Pearlington, Shoreline Park, and Stennis Space Center. Includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 260 and 273, Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 18, Interstate 12 between mile markers 83 and 84, and Interstate 59 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 9.

Move indoors immediately due to large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Expected Conditions
At 7:03 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Stennis Space Center to near Pearlington to near Lake Catherine, moving east at 40 mph. Hazards include 70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail (0.75 inch). Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Torrential rainfall may lead to flash flooding.
