At 12:44 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Middlebourne to 6 miles southeast of Boaz, moving southeast at 30 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail (1.25 inches). Hail damage to vehicles is expected, along with wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Torrential rainfall may lead to flash flooding.
