Southern Randolph County in central North Carolina... * Until 630 PM EDT. * At 546 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Seagrove, or 9 miles north of Troy, and is nearly stationary. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Troy, North Carolina Zoo, Badin Lake, Biscoe, Seagrove, Mount Gilead, Robbins, Star, Candor, and Eldorado. This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 41 and 70.
