Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Lincoln IL. Effective from June 21 at 4:56 PM CDT until June 21 at 6:00 PM CDT.

Affected Areas

Northern Lawrence County and northeastern Richland County in southeastern Illinois. Severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Ste. Marie to near Olney, moving east at 40 mph. Locations in the path include Chauncey around 5:00 PM CDT, Lawrenceville Vincennes Airport, and Russellville.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.

Expected Conditions

At 4:55 PM CDT, radar indicated severe thunderstorms with 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
