Affected Areas
Southwestern La Paz County in west central Arizona; West central Yuma County in southwestern Arizona; Southeastern Imperial County in southeastern California. Locations impacted include Martinez Lake. Highways: CA Interstate 8 between mile markers 85 and 92; AZ Route 95 between mile markers 48 and 54.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Expected Conditions
At 5:36 PM MST/PDT a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles north of Andrade or 17 miles west of Martinez Lake moving northeast at 30 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Radar indicated.
