Kendall County in south central Texas and west central Comal County in south central Texas. Locations impacted include Boerne, Comfort, Canyon Lake, Fair Oaks Ranch, Bulverde, Guadalupe River State Park, Walnut Grove, Kendalia, Smithson Valley, Old Tunnel State Park, Bankersmith, Sisterdale, Kreutzberg, Spring Branch, Welfare, Nelson City, Waring, Bergheim, Kronkosky State Natural Area, and Cascade Caverns.
What You Should Do
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Move indoors immediately. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with these storms.
Expected Conditions
At 9:13 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Twin Sisters to near Cypress Creek, moving south at 15 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail (1.25 inches).
