At 8:51 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Barnes City to near Ottumwa Industrial Airport to near Blakesburg, moving east at 40 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts. Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to flash flooding. Hail up to 0.75 inches is possible.
