Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Albuquerque NM. Effective from August 26 at 3:41 PM MDT until August 26 at 4:30 PM MDT. Alert type code: SVR.

Northwestern Guadalupe County in east central New Mexico and southern San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico. Locations impacted include Colonias, Dilia, Santa Rosa Lake State Park, and Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 256 and 269.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. If on or near Santa Rosa Lake, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Move to safe shelter now if you can hear thunder.
