HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Observed. At 2:31pm, Greensboro International Airport reported a wind gust to 69 mph. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Greensboro, High Point, Asheboro, Randleman, North Carolina Zoo, Siler City, Seagrove, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, and Liberty. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 33 and 35, and between Mile Markers 113 and 128. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 215 and 224. Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 63 and 101. Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 74 and 79.
