Alert Details
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning (SVRDDC) was issued by the National Weather Service in Dodge City KS at 9:01 PM CDT on June 21, 2026. The alert is effective immediately and expires at 9:45 PM CDT on June 21, 2026.

At 9:00 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Howell to near Sublette, moving south at 55 mph. Hazards include 70 mph wind gusts. Radar indicated numerous wind gusts of 60 mph or greater. Blowing dust may reduce visibility to near zero at times before the rain begins. Expect considerable tree damage and likely damage to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Max hail size up to 0.75 inches.
