Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Cheyenne WY. Effective from 3:40 PM MDT June 20, 2026 until 4:30 PM MDT June 20, 2026. Alert type code: SVW.
Affected Areas
Southeastern Goshen County and northeastern Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming. Locations impacted include La Grange, Meriden Rest Area, Hawk Springs Reservoir, Hawk Springs State Recreation Area, Wycross, and Hawk Springs Campground.

Expected Conditions
At 3:39 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest of Meriden Rest Area, or 32 miles southwest of Torrington, moving east at 15 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
