Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Phoenix AZ. Effective from August 19 at 9:11 PM MST until August 19 at 9:45 PM MST. Alert type code: SVR.
Affected Areas
Gila County in east central Arizona and Maricopa County in south central Arizona. Locations impacted include Sycamore Creek, Sunflower, Punkin Center, Tonto Basin, and Oak Spring Canyon. Includes AZ Route 87 between mile markers 215 and 229 and AZ Route 188 between mile markers 258 and 266.

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Move indoors immediately. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Expected Conditions
At 9:11 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Oak Spring Canyon, or near Sunflower, moving southwest at 5 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Radar indicated.
