Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Aberdeen SD. Effective from August 9 at 2:25 AM CDT until August 9 at 3:15 AM CDT. Alert type code: SVR.

Northeastern Faulk County in north central South Dakota and northwestern Spink County in northeastern South Dakota.

At 2:25 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Evergreen Colony, or 11 miles north of Faulkton, moving southeast at 25 mph. Hazard includes ping pong ball size hail (1.50 inches) and 60 mph wind gusts.
