Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Omaha/Valley NE. Effective from August 14, 2026 at 4:07 AM CDT until August 14, 2026 at 5:00 AM CDT.
Affected Areas
Southwestern Burt County in east central Nebraska; Southeastern Cuming County in northeastern Nebraska; Northwestern Washington County in east central Nebraska; Northwestern Dodge County in east central Nebraska.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Expected Conditions
At 4:07 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 2 miles southeast of Dodge to 5 miles southwest of Scribner to 5 miles northeast of North Bend, moving northeast at 50 mph. Hazard includes 60 mph wind gusts and hail up to 0.75 inches. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
