Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Corpus Christi TX. Effective from 2026-05-26T23:44:00-05:00 until 2026-05-27T00:30:00-05:00. Severity: Severe. Certainty: Observed. Urgency: Immediate.
Affected Areas
West central Duval County in south central Texas and east central Webb County in south central Texas. This includes US Highway 59 between mile markers 778 and 800. The storm was located 18 miles north of Oilton or 21 miles southwest of Freer at issuance.

Remain alert for a possible tornado. If you spot a tornado, go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Move indoors immediately due to large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning.
