Alert Details
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning (SVR) has been issued by the National Weather Service in Aberdeen SD. The alert is effective from June 18 at 9:12 PM MDT until June 18 at 10:15 PM MDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Northwestern Stanley County in central South Dakota and Western Dewey County in north central South Dakota. Severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Glad Valley to near Dupree to near Milesville, moving east at 40 mph. Locations in the path include Lantry, Isabel, Bear Creek, Firesteel, Green Grass, Eagle Butte, Timber Lake, Little Moreau Rec Area, Parade, Sansarc, White Horse and Glencross.
