Southwestern Oglala Lakota County in southwestern South Dakota... * Until 545 PM MDT. * At 438 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from near Cascade Falls to 44 miles south of Slim Butte, or along a line from 12 miles east of Edgemont to 49 miles southwest of Pine Ridge, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail. SOURCE...Automated observations. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Pine Ridge, Oglala, Oral, Oelrichs, Smithwick, Prairie Winds Casino, Dry Wood Housing, Loneman, South Lakeside, Number 4, Calico, Hay Canyon Butte, Slim Butte, Intersection of Red Shirt and Cuny Table Roads, Slim Buttes Housing, Angostura Reservoir and southwestern Pine Ridge Reservation.
