Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Grand Rapids MI. Effective from June 16, 2026 at 5:28 PM EDT until June 16, 2026 at 6:15 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
Northeastern Isabella County and eastern Clare County in central Michigan. Locations impacted include Mount Pleasant, Clare, Rosebush, Springwood Lakes, Bailey Lake, Five Lakes, Delwin, Loomis, Beal City, Mount Pleasant Munic, Dodge and Townline.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows.
Expected Conditions
At 5:27 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Rosebush, or 6 miles north of Mount Pleasant, moving northeast at 35 mph. Hazard includes 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail (1.00 inch). Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
