What You Should Do
For protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Move indoors immediately due to damaging wind and continuous cloud to ground lightning. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Expected Conditions
At 4:33 PM CDT a severe thunderstorm was located over Texas City moving northeast at 10 mph. Hazard includes 60 mph wind gusts and hail up to 0.75 inches. Torrential rainfall may lead to flash flooding.
