At 2:56 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 33 miles west of Choteau to 8 miles east of Augusta to 12 miles southwest of Fairfield to 13 miles north of East Helena, moving northeast at 35 mph. Hazard: 70 mph wind gusts. Hail up to 0.75 inches (radar indicated). Impact: Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
