Southeastern Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia... * Until 530 PM EDT. * At 459 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Kenna, or 11 miles southeast of Ripley, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Spencer, Clendenin, Kenna, Amma, Statts Mills, Harmony, Tariff, Kentuck, Walton, Left Hand, Orma, Looneyville, Gay, and Gandeeville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 17 and 29. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 120 and 130.
