At 7:45 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast of Carthage, or 13 miles west of Rison, moving southeast at 50 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail (0.75 inch). Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
