Affected Areas
Northeastern Carbon County, north central Albany County, and southwestern Converse County in Wyoming. Locations impacted include Hanna, Medicine Bow, Rock River, Elk Mountain, Shirley Basin, McFadden, Wheatland Reservoir Number 3, Boxelder, Curtis Gulch Campground, Campbell Creek Campground, and Arlington. Includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 239 and 274.

At 3:25 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms located along a line extending from 8 miles west of Shirley Basin to 9 miles southwest of Battle Mountain to near Hanna, moving east at 30 mph. Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail (0.75 inch). Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
