Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by NWS Cheyenne WY. Effective from 6:26 PM MDT to 7:30 PM MDT on June 20, 2026.
Affected Areas
Northeastern Carbon County in south central Wyoming and north central Albany County in southeastern Wyoming. Locations impacted include Hanna, Medicine Bow, Elk Mountain, Shirley Basin, and Arlington. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 241 and 274.

Expected Conditions
At 6:26 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Shirley Basin to 13 miles northeast of Saratoga Lake, moving east at 25 mph. Hazard includes 60 mph wind gusts with radar indicated source. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Hail up to 0.75 inches possible.
