What You Should Do
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. Prepare accordingly based on criteria for Southeastern Idaho including relative humidity at or below 15 percent and wind gusts of at least 30 mph in the Snake Plain.
Expected Conditions
Winds west 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Relative humidity as low as 9 percent. Gusty winds and low humidity contribute to rapid fire spread and high intensity should a wildfire get established. Extreme fire behavior can also result.
