A Red Flag Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Elko NV. The alert is in effect from 2 PM to 11 PM PDT Friday for fire weather zones NVZ424, NVZ437, NVZ438, NVZ469, and NVZ470.

The warning covers Southeastern Humboldt County and northern Lander County; Humboldt County - Quinn; Western Elko County, northern Eureka and Lander Counties north of Interstate 80; Central Elko County; and Eastern Elko County.
