A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Anchorage AK. The alert is effective from August 4 at 8:14 AM AKDT until August 7 at 1:00 PM AKDT.

Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. At 8:04 AM AKDT, the river gauge at the Yentna River at Lake Creek indicated rises in water levels from heavy rain. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch possible. At 7:51 AM the stage was 20.7 feet, above flood stage of 20.5 feet. A crest near 22 feet is expected Wednesday.
Timeline
The alert is effective from August 4 at 8:14 AM AKDT through August 7 at 1:00 PM AKDT. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Between 21 and 22 feet, several lodges may have water in or around low-lying cabins.
