Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN. The alert is effective from late Friday night through Friday, August 21.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Crawford, IL; Lawrence, IL; Knox, IN; and Sullivan, IN. Specific locations include the Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, Wabash River at Terre Haute, and Wabash River at Riverton.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast along the Wabash River as a result of heavy rainfall. At 18.0 feet, seep water occurs behind levees on the Indiana side, Hutson Creek begins to overflow from backwater, Old Darwin Road and a few rural roads in eastern Clark and Crawford counties in Illinois are impassable, and low agricultural land floods. The river is expected to crest at 19.0 feet Wednesday evening. Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
