Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN. The alert is effective from Saturday morning, August 15 at 9:30 AM EDT through Friday, August 21 at 5:50 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers the Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, Wabash River at Terre Haute, and Wabash River at Riverton. Affected counties include Crawford and Lawrence in Illinois, and Knox and Sullivan in Indiana.

Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast along the Wabash River. At 18.0 feet, extensive lowland flooding occurs with high water surrounding many river cabins, access limited to boat only, and extensive flooding of Leaverton Park in Palestine, Illinois. The river is expected to crest at 17.6 feet early Wednesday afternoon.
