A Flood Warning has been issued by NWS Lake Charles LA. The alert is effective from June 18 at 10:51 AM CDT until June 18 at 5:00 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers St. Landry Parish in central Louisiana. Flooding may occur along Bayou des Glaises Diversion Canal, Bayou Courtableau, and Bayou Teche north of Highway 190. Specific locations include Palmetto, Port Barre, and Washington. Flood water from heavy rain in south Avoyelles and north Saint Landry Parishes is draining southward into central Saint Landry.
