A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Charleston WV. The alert is effective from May 24 at 8:53 PM EDT until May 25 at 9:00 AM EDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Eastern Gallia County, East Central Lawrence County, and Southwestern Meigs County in southeastern Ohio, as well as North Central Cabell County in central West Virginia and Northwestern Mason County in western West Virginia. Specific locations that will experience flooding include Point Pleasant, Gallipolis, New Haven, Middleport, Aid, Hartford City, Crown City, Henderson, Cheshire, Gallopolis Ferry, Kyger, Green Bottom, Lakin, and Scottown.
