A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Dodge City KS for the South Fork Ninnescah River near Pratt affecting Pratt County. The alert is effective from June 21 at 3:12 AM CDT and remains in effect until June 23 at 4:42 AM CDT.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage (9.0 feet) this morning to a crest of 10.9 feet this afternoon, then fall below flood stage late tonight. At 11.0 feet, flood waters cover numerous county roads from the vicinity of Pratt to the Pratt and Kingman county line, with road closures expected.
