Moderate flooding is forecast. At 19.0 feet, water begins to overflow into the low portion of a cultivated field on the right bank upstream adjacent to the gage site. At 23.0 feet, rural overflow begins around the community of Niles. At 24.0 feet, low land flooding continues along the river. At 27.0 feet, Arrowhead Road west of Niles floods. Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

Timeline

The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday morning, crest at 29.4 feet Saturday morning, and fall below flood stage early Sunday afternoon. The warning is in effect from 2026-06-05T07:00:00-05:00 until 2026-06-08T02:09:00-05:00.
