Alert Details
A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Wakefield VA. The alert is effective from August 4 at 6:58 PM EDT until August 5 at 1:00 AM EDT. It replaces a prior Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Charles City, Chesterfield, Henrico, Prince George, Surry, and Sussex counties in Virginia. Specific areas include southeastern Chesterfield County, southeastern Henrico County, southwestern Charles City County, northeastern Prince George County, Surry County, and north central Sussex County.

Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Between 2.5 and 6.5 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches possible.
