A Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Cleveland OH for the Sandusky River at Tiffin. The alert is effective from May 25 at 1:04 PM EDT and remains in effect until May 26 at 8:52 AM EDT.

Minor flooding is forecast. At 9.0 feet, lowland flooding occurs north and south of the floodwall in Tiffin, threatening Coe Street, Water Street, East Davis Street, and riverside property along Front Street.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 9.2 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. At 12:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 8.9 feet.
