Flood Warning issued by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX. Effective from June 15 at 3:01 PM CDT. Onset June 16 at 4:15 PM CDT. Expires June 16 at 9:15 AM CDT. Ends June 18 at 3:30 AM CDT. Severity: Severe. Certainty: Likely. Urgency: Expected.

What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges, dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream, even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route over higher ground.
Expected Conditions
Minor flooding is forecast. At 27 feet flood waters begin to impact lower portions of Floresville City Park. Flood stage is 27.0 feet. At 2:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 4.3 feet. Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
Timeline
The river will rise to 8.5 feet late this evening. It will then fall to 8.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to 30.8 feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday afternoon. Alert ends early Thursday morning.
