Flood Warning issued by NWS Corpus Christi TX (NOAA) on June 15 at 8:45AM CDT. The alert is in effect from late Thursday night to Saturday afternoon.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Expected Conditions

Minor flooding is forecast. At 25.0 feet, minor lowland flooding occurs with water in the lowest areas of Goliad State Park. Livestock below Goliad to the Guadalupe River confluence are cut off and potentially drown.

Timeline

The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Friday morning to a crest of 25.4 feet early Friday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning. Flood stage is 25.0 feet. Alert effective from 2026-06-19T02:30:00-05:00 until 2026-06-20T17:00:00-05:00.
