Flood Warning issued by NWS Indianapolis IN. Effective from August 12 at 11:41 PM EDT until August 13 at 9:30 AM EDT. Replaces previous Flash Flood Warning.
Affected Areas
Randolph County in east central Indiana. Specific locations include Winchester, Union City, Parker City, Farmland, Lynn, Ridgeville, Saratoga, Losantville and Modoc.
What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
Expected Conditions
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen.
